Where did the idea for the psudo flashbacks come from?

Thanks. (yeah, I don't visit the SMBC forum too often, and don't notice PM's too often either... just got it now, though )

As for the flashbacks, at this point, I don't really remember where/when I got some of the different things I've included. I think, though, the flashbacks where one of the things I thought up when trying to figure out different ways of showing backstory while at work over the summer (yeah... I definitely did more sketching/brainstorming last summer than actual work)
